There are 3 ways to update a theme:

  1. With Envato Market WordPress Plugin, which allow you to update themes and plugins automatically from WP dashboard.
  2. Deactivating and delete a theme at Appearance > Themes, then install and activate a new theme version.
  3. Via FTP - go to wp-content/themes and delete a theme folder, then upload a new version.
